Photo Albums are a great way to share pictures with your members.

To use this feature, you must first create a Photo Album.

Photo Albums

New Photo Albums can be created by clicking on "Add Content" under the "Administration" menu and then click on "Photo Albums". Enter an Album Name and optionally a description of the album. Albums are sorted alphabetically by default. You can order them manually by selecting a "weight" - lower numbers (including negative numbers) move to the top. Albums with the same weight sort alphabetically.

You can edit/update a Photo Album after creating it by clicking on "Manage" under the "Administration" menu and then click on . To delete an Announcement, follow the procedure for edit/update and then click the "Delete" button. This will delete the Photo Album and ALL pictures in it.

Pictures

Once you have a Photo Album, you can add pictures to it. Click on "Add Content" under the "Administration" menu and then click on "Pictures". This will display the Photo Upload Tool.

If this is your first time using the tool, you will need to accept the security prompt for the java application we use. We recommend that you check "Always accept" on the security window so you don't have to go through this step every time you want to upload pictures.

• Select a Photo Album to add pictures.
• Select a Picture Order for upload pictures
  • Last Modified - The timestamp of the picture to be uploaded will be used for sorting. This is usually the date on which you transferred the pictures from your camera to your computer or the date on which you last edited the picture. Pictures will be ordered from oldest to newest based upon this timestamp in the Photo Album.
  • Picture Order - The current order of the pictures in the Upload Tool will be used for display in the Photo Albums. The first picture will be displayed first, etc...
• Click the +Add button to select one or more pictures
• Rearrange pictures, if you selected that option
• Click Upload (up arrow) button

Pictures are "downsized" for viewing and storage before they are uploaded. This will allow you to store a larger number of pictures within your allotted storage space.

To delete pictures you can go to the individual picture, click on it, click on the "Edit" tab, and then use the "Delete" button. You can also delete multiple pictures within a single Photo Albums by going to Administration/Content/Manage/Photo Albums and selecting the "delete pics" link next to a Photo Album.
