SOAR

Now that you have found and uploaded graphics/images to your SOAR website, it is time to add one of them to the content of one your your website pages.

For demonstration purposes we are going to add a graphic/image to your About Us page. The procedure below can be used anytime you see the Rich Text Editor.

Step by Step instructions

• Login to your SOAR website using an account that has Add Account/Leader or Administrative rights.
• On the Menu on the left, click on the About Us item.
  • Note: You may have changed the name of this page, find the page that is Public and describes your unit.
• Click the Edit tab below the page title.
• An edit form should now appear with the Rich Text Editor being displayed for the Page Content section.
• Click your mouse inside the Rich Text Editor just before the first text in the box.
• Click the Insert Image button in the Rich Text Editor.
• You will now see a popup Image Insert screen, as shown below.
  

• Click the Browse Library button on the right of the Image URL field.
• A second popup will appear that contains the Library of Graphics you can insert into the content on your website. This is shown in the left image below.

  • At the bottom there are two folders that correspond to your uploaded Site Graphics and Site Photos uploads.

  

• Browse the graphics looking for one you like
  • Click on a Folder name to see the graphics in it.

  • At the top of each page is a link to the previous page.
  • You can close the popup by clicking the X in the upper right of the popup window.
• Once you have found a graphic/image you like, click on the image to select it.
• The Library popup window will now close.
• Click the Insert button on the Image Insert screen to complete the selection.
• You should now see the graphic inside your page content in the Rich Text Editor.
• Congratulations! You have just added your first graphic/image to a page on your website.

Note: You will find the same Browse Library button in the Header section of most Site Themes. You can use this button to select graphics to include in the header of your website.
